1. Introduction

Welcome to Eco Villa Pandola ("we", "us", "our", or "the Villa"). These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and stay at our property located at Eco Village Pandola, Bambarwana, Maththaka, Elpitiya, Galle, Sri Lanka. By making a reservation or using our website (ecovillagesrilanka.com), you agree to these terms.

2. Reservations & Booking

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Eco Villa Pandola. To confirm a reservation, a non-refundable 50% advance payment of the total booking value is required. The remaining 50% balance is payable upon arrival at the Villa.

A booking is only considered confirmed once we have received the advance payment and issued you a written confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

3. Payment

We accept payments through PayHere (Sri Lanka's licensed online payment gateway), bank transfers, and cash on arrival for the balance. All online payments processed through PayHere are secured under PCI-DSS compliance.

All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to a 10% service charge unless otherwise specified.

4. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time: 2:00 PM | Check-out time: 11:00 AM

Please adhere to check-in and check-out times. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellation Policy

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. In summary:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the check-in date: 100% refund of advance payment.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

• Treat the property, staff, and other guests with respect.
• Take care of the natural surroundings — do not litter, damage plants, or harm wildlife.
• Be responsible for the safety of children when swimming in the natural pool or hiking trails.
• Not bring pork, beef, or wild meat onto the premises (none is served at the Villa).
• Not engage in any illegal activities on the property.

7. Damage & Liability

Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property, fixtures, or equipment during their stay. Eco Villa Pandola is not liable for any loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal property during your stay. Guests use all facilities — including the natural pool, waterfalls, and jungle trails — at their own risk.

8. Children & Pool Safety

Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult, especially around the natural pool, waterfalls, and stream. The natural pool depth varies and is not lifeguarded.

9. Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. Designated outdoor areas may be used. Guests may bring their own alcohol; corkage charges may apply.

10. Force Majeure

Eco Villa Pandola is not liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, road closures, power outages, or pandemics. In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule your booking.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
